Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology — manage and execute sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within the Washington DC region, including DC, Northern VA, Baltimore, and Western PA. Drive engagement with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related staff; promote portfolio benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals; demonstrate disease-state knowledge and product knowledge; maintain call records and reports; travel within territory daily; collaborate with Commercial partners to optimize performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Experience with IDN systems is highly preferred
