Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the Washington, DC region accountable for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for the company’s nephrology portfolio. You will engage nephrology health care professionals across office, hospital, and dialysis settings, travel within the assigned territory, and call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff to promote products. Demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, establish productive relationships within marketplace networks, analyze sales performance to adjust the business plan, maintain up-to-date call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners while representing CSL Vifor professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
