Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology covering Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA/Pittsburgh; responsibilities include executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products, engaging nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations in assigned territory, promoting product benefits to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, renal dietitians, and hospitals, maintaining up-to-date call records, and collaborating with Commercial partners; requires travel within the territory, deep disease-state/product knowledge, and a strong track record in pharmaceutical sales.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry preferred in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
