Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for driving sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology-related products within a defined US territory including DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh. Requires engagement with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related staff; travel within territory; promotion of products to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, renal dietitians, and hospitals; and maintaining call records and collaboration with commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis preferred
- account-based selling
- account management experience navigating a complex marketplace
