Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology covering Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore and Western PA/PT Pittsburgh. Responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff; travel daily within the assigned territory; promote product portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and others; demonstrate disease state and product knowledge; develop and maintain relationships across marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain call records and submit reports; represent CSL positively and professionally; collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
