Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products in the Washington DC region including DC, Northern Virginia, Richmond, Baltimore and Western Pennsylvania. You will engage nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations to promote portfolio products, with daily travel within the assigned territory. Maintain up-to-date call records, collaborate with Commercial partners, and demonstrate advanced disease state knowledge and product knowledge of renal therapies to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
