Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology focused on Washington DC and surrounding territory. Drive sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products; engage nephrology care professionals in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; manage a defined territory with daily travel; call on nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; promote product benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and related staff; demonstrate disease state and product knowledge, analyze performance, adjust business plans, and maintain call records. Build positive relationships within marketplace networks, collaborate with Commercial partners, and represent CSL Vifor professionally externally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis preferred
- account-based selling
- account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
