Job Summary
As the Area Sales Manager for Nephrology, you will lead sales strategy and market development for our nephrology portfolio within Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh. You will engage with nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations to promote our products, travel daily within the assigned territory, and build relationships with physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals. You will demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, analyze sales performance, adjust business plans, maintain field call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners to achieve sales objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
