Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products across a defined territory (DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, Western PA/Pittsburgh). Daily travel within the territory to engage nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; promote portfolio benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; establish professional relationships within the marketplace; manage call activity and reporting; and collaborate with Commercial partners to achieve sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 5+ years0experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis preferred
- account management experience
- ability to analyze sales performance and adjust business plans
