Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology overseeing a Washington, DC-based territory including DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh. Responsibilities include executing sales, market development, and strategic planning; engaging with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other key customers; promoting portfolio benefits; maintaining up-to-date call records; and collaborating with commercial partners. Requires daily travel within the assigned territory and a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in Nephrology/renal/dialysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry preferred in Nephrology/renal/dialysis
- Account management experience
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
