Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for nephrology portfolio covering Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA. You will execute sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products, engaging nephrology-focused healthcare professionals across office, hospital, and dialysis settings; travel daily within the assigned territory; build relationships with physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, analyze sales performance, and adjust the business plan while maintaining up-to-date call records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry preferred in Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
