Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within the Washington DC region and surrounding territory, engaging nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other key customers; travel across DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA; promote portfolio, demonstrate disease-state knowledge, maintain relationships, analyze performance, and collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
