Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology responsible for sales, market development, and strategic planning across Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh. You will engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations and their staff to promote portfolio products, demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, and establish strong relationships within territory networks. Expect daily travel within assigned territory, with a focus on promoting portfolio benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals, while maintaining call records and reports, collaborating with Commercial partners, and adapting the business plan based on performance data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry (Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis preferred)
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Knowledge of nephrology, dialysis, and hospital sales is preferred
