Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology leading sales, market development, and strategic planning within the assigned territory (Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, and Western PA/Pittsburgh). Engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations and staff; travel daily within territory; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals and other stakeholders; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; establish strong networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain up-to-date call records and reports; collaborate with Commercial partners; represent CSL externally and internally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
