Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology territory (DC region) responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products. Engage with nephrology physicians, dialysis organizations, and health systems across assigned territory (Washington DC, Northern VA, Richmond, Baltimore, Western PA/Pittsburgh). Promote product portfolio, demonstrate disease-state knowledge, maintain call records, and develop relationships within hospital and office settings. Daily travel within the territory; collaborate with Commercial partners and deliver actionable business plans. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with preferred Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis background.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Experience with IDN systems highly preferred
