Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in NYC territory with responsibilities spanning sales execution, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolios. Travel daily within the NYC metro area including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, Long Island, and parts of New Jersey. Engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other stakeholders; promote company products; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; build and maintain relationships; analyze sales performance and adjust the business plan; maintain call records and reports; represent the company professionally; collaborate with commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
