Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in NYC territory: responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for the nephrology portfolio; engage with nephrologists, dialysis units, hospitals, and health systems to promote products; travel daily within the NYC area and parts of New Jersey; call on doctors, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and related staff; demonstrate strong disease-state and product knowledge; build and maintain relationships across marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain call records and submit reports; collaborate with Commercial partners and represent CSL professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
