Job Summary
Area Sales Manager to lead sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products across TN, KY, OH, and AL. Responsibilities include engaging nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; promoting portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; daily travel within the assigned territory; maintaining up-to-date call records and reports; building positive relationships within marketplace networks; analyzing sales performance and adjusting business plans accordingly. Requires Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with preferred experience in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis and IDN systems; travel-heavy field role with a focus on strategic account management and product knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis experience (highly preferred)
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
