Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology overseeing a multi-state territory (TN, KY, OH, AL) with daily travel to engage nephrology practices, hospitals, dialysis centers, and related staff. Responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning; promote portfolio across physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and health systems; maintain up-to-date call records and collaborate with Commercial partners to achieve performance targets; require advanced disease-state knowledge in nephrology/renal therapies and the ability to navigate IDN/hospital systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
