Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology in the Nashville, TN region leads sales, market development, and strategic planning for the nephrology portfolio. Responsible for engaging nephrologists, dialysis facilities, health systems, and hospital networks within assigned territory; conducts in-person calls, builds partnerships with physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and other staff; maintains up-to-date call records and reports; travels daily across the territory (TN, KY, OH, AL) to promote products and demonstrate disease-state knowledge while collaborating with commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales; nephrology/renal/dialysis experience highly preferred
- account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- demonstrated track record as a top sales performer
- experience with selling to nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations; ability to promote portfolio products
