Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology, Nashville, TN region responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio across TN, KY, OH, and AL territories. Travel daily within the assigned territory to engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff; promote products to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; develop relationships and analyze sales performance to adjust business plans. Requires Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with strong account management and disease-state knowledge in renal/nephrology specialties. Demonstrates effective collaboration with Commercial partners and maintains up-to-date field reports and call records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- proven track record as a top sales performer
- account management experience in a complex, competitive marketplace
- experience with IDN systems is highly preferred
