Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology leading sales and market development across the Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Alabama territory. Responsible for engaging nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations and staff to promote a portfolio of nephrology products; delivering product knowledge, advanced disease-state understanding, and competitive insights; executing strategic planning, territory management, and performance analysis; maintaining up-to-date field reports and building productive relationships across marketplace networks; requires daily travel within the assigned territory and collaboration with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis experience preferred
- Account management experience in a complex marketplace
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Knowledge of disease states relevant to nephrology and renal therapies
- Ability to travel within assigned territory
- Ability to establish relationships with physicians, hospitals, and dialysis organizations
- Ability to maintain call records and submit paperwork
