Job Summary
Area Sales Manager position overseeing nephrology/pharmaceutical portfolio in a multi-state territory (Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Alabama) with responsibilities spanning sales execution, market development, strategic planning, and engagement with nephrologists, dialysis organizations, and health systems. Daily travel within assigned territory; accountable for promoting product knowledge, maintaining relationships across physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; analyzing sales performance and adjusting business plans; submitting field reports; collaborating with Commercial partners; demonstrating disease-state and product knowledge, and representing CSL Vifor professionally. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in pharma sales (preferably nephrology/renal/dialysis), proven top sales performance, and strong account-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
