Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products across TN (Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Jackson), KY (Louisville, Lexington, Paducah, Ashland), OH (Cincinnati), and AL (Birmingham, Huntsville) with daily travel within assigned territory. Drive engagement with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations and staff; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals and related staff; expand product knowledge in renal specialties; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain up-to-date field call records; collaborate with Commercial partners to represent CSL Vifor positively both externally and internally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
