Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, nephrology-focused role overseeing TN, KY, OH, and AL territories. Responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engaging nephrology-focused healthcare professionals (nephrologists, hospitals, dialysis organizations, and related staff); promoting portfolio benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and other key customers; traveling daily within assigned territory; maintaining up-to-date call records and submitting reports; collaborating with Commercial partners and representing the company professionally in external interactions; leveraging disease-state and product knowledge to drive sales and territory growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
