Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within the territory. Will engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff across office, hospital, and dialysis settings. Daily travel across Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Alabama to call on physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; promote product portfolio and demonstrate disease-state knowledge; maintain call records and reports; collaborate with Commercial partners; represent the company professionally to external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
