Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio across TN, KY, OH, and AL with daily travel within assigned territory; engages nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations; promotes products, demonstrates advanced disease-state knowledge, builds relationships, analyzes sales performance, maintains call records, and collaborates with Commercial partners to drive portfolio success; reports to the Regional Business Manager and works within a dynamic field-sales environment. Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with preference for Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis backgrounds and account-management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
