Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the Tennessee/Kentucky/Ohio/Alabama region with responsibility for driving sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology/product portfolio. Daily travel within the assigned territory to engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff; promote products to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals and related entities; maintain call records and reports; collaborate with commercial partners; build positive relationships across marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans accordingly; demonstrate product and disease-state knowledge in renal specialties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
