Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology covering the Tennessee/Kentucky/Ohio/Alabama territory. Drive sales, market development, and strategic planning; engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations across office, hospital, and dialysis settings; frequent travel within the territory; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; build relationships within marketplace networks; maintain call records and reports; collaborate with commercial partners; requires deep nephrology/renal market experience and proven sales success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry (nephrology or related)
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account management experience
- Knowledge of nephrology/renal/dialysis markets
- Ability to travel daily within assigned territory
- Ability to engage with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, hospitals and health systems
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales performance and adjust business plans
