Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology responsible for executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for the nephrology portfolio across assigned territory boundaries. You will engage with nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations, promote products to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals, and maintain up-to-date call records. Daily travel within the Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Alabama region is required. The role emphasizes advanced disease state knowledge, product promotion, relationship-building within marketplace networks, and collaboration with Commercial partners to drive sales performance and market access.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
