Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within an assigned territory. Engages with nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations to promote products; travels daily across Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Alabama and surrounding areas; maintains up-to-date call records; collaborates with Commercial partners; promotes advanced disease state and product knowledge to a broad range of customers (physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry preferred in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Experience with IDN systems preferred
