Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for driving sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio across TN, KY, OH, and AL. Engages nephrology-focused healthcare professionals in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; travels daily within the assigned territory to call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related staff; promotes company products, demonstrates disease-state and product knowledge, builds relationships within marketplace networks, analyzes sales performance, and maintains accurate field records. Collaborates with Commercial partners to achieve territory goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis preferred
- account management experience
- ability to travel daily within assigned territory
- demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- proven track record as a top sales performer
