Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the TN-KY-OH-AL region with daily territory travel and engagement with nephrology care teams. Responsibilities include executing sales, market development, and strategic planning; calling on nephrologists, hospitals, dialysis organizations, and health-system staff; promoting product portfolio; maintaining disease-state and product knowledge; building relationships across marketplace networks; analyzing sales performance and adjusting business plans; and maintaining call records. Requires Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years pharma sales experience (nephrology/renal/dialysis preferred), and a proven top sales track record. Travel within assigned territory (Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Alabama and surrounding areas) is expected; role collaborates with Commercial partners and represents CSL Vifor positively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Experience with Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis sales preferred
- Experience with IDN systems preferred
