Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio across multiple states. You will engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and their staff to promote products, demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, and drive growth. Daily travel within the assigned territory, calling on physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; maintain up-to-date call records and reports; collaborate with Commercial partners to achieve sales goals and represent the company professionally in internal and external communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis or related field preferred
- Account management experience in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
