Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for driving sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio across assigned territory (Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Alabama and surrounding areas). Engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related staff; travel daily within territory; promote company products to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other key customers; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; maintain up-to-date call records and reports; collaborate with Commercial partners; build positive relationships within marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry (highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis)
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
