Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning across a multi-state territory (TN, KY, OH, AL) focusing on nephrology and dialysis products. Build relationships with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related staff; travel daily within the territory; promote product knowledge and disease-state understanding; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain call records and collaborate with commercial partners; represent CSL Vifor professionally. Requires established pharmaceutical sales experience, especially in nephrology/renal/dialysis, and a Bachelor’s degree. The role involves engaging a broad set of customers (physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals) and driving territory growth through strategic planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis preferred
- account management experience
- top sales performer
- knowledge of disease states related to nephrology
- ability to travel daily within assigned territory
- demonstrated ability to promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and hospitals
- ability to maintain up-to-date call records and reports
