Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio across a multi-state territory (TN, KY, OH, AL). Engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations and staff; travel daily within assigned territory; promote product benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; maintain up-to-date call records and reports; develop relationships across marketplace networks; analyze sales performance to adjust plans; collaborate with Commercial partners; requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with preferred nephrology/renal/dialysis background.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of nephrology/renal/dialysis preferred
- Account management experience in complex, competitive markets
- Proven track record as top sales performer
