Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products across a multi-state territory (TN, KY, OH, AL). Engage with nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations in office, hospital, and dialysis settings. Daily travel within the territory; call on physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and renal staff; promote product knowledge and disease-state expertise; analyze sales performance and adjust plans; maintain detailed field reports; represent CSL Vifor professionally and collaborate with Commercial partners. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales with preference for Nephrology/renal/dialysis experience; strong account management skills and ability to navigate a complex marketplace.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- Experience in Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis or related field preferred
- Account management experience
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Knowledge of disease states and product portfolio in renal therapies
