Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for nephrology overseeing a multi-state US territory. Responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engaging nephrology professionals (physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists) in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; driving product adoption through advanced disease-state and product knowledge; maintaining effective call records, reporting, and collaboration with Commercial partners; heavy travel within assigned territory (TN, KY, OH, AL and surrounding areas) to promote portfolio and strengthen relationships with nephrologists, dialysis organizations, and health systems. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with a track record of top performance and strong account-management capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
