Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for the nephrology portfolio across Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Alabama. Engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and staff across office, hospital, and dialysis settings. Daily travel within the assigned territory; call on and promote products to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and related staff. Demonstrate advanced disease-state and product knowledge, promote portfolio benefits, build productive relationships within the marketplace, analyze sales performance, adjust business plans, maintain up-to-date call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
