Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for driving sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio across assigned territory. Engage with nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; travel daily within TN, KY, OH, AL and surrounding areas; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; demonstrate disease state knowledge and product knowledge, analyze sales performance, and adjust business plans; maintain up-to-date call records and reports; collaborate with commercial partners to achieve sales objectives and maintain a professional external image.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis experience preferred
- Account management experience
- Proven sales track record
- Knowledge of nephrology or renal therapies
- Ability to travel within assigned territory
