Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for the nephrology product portfolio within a defined territory (TN, KY, OH, AL). Engage with nephrologists, dialysis organizations, and health systems across office, hospital, and dialysis settings; travel daily within territory; promote portfolio benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals. Maintain up-to-date call records, submit reports, and collaborate with Commercial partners to drive product adoption and performance. Requires strong disease-state knowledge in nephrology/renal, account-based selling, and a proven sales track record in pharmaceutical/renal specialties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
