Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for selling nephrology portfolio within a multi-state US territory (TN, KY, OH, AL) with daily travel; call on nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; promote product knowledge and disease state understanding; maintain up-to-date call records and collaborate with Commercial partners; develop and execute sales, market development, and strategic plans; requires bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with preference for nephrology/renal/dialysis exposure, and a track record as a top sales performer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
