Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engage with nephrology-focused care teams across office, hospital, and dialysis settings; travel within the territory; call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related staff; promote the portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; build and maintain professional relationships; analyze sales performance and adjust the business plan; maintain up-to-date call records and submit reports; collaborate with Commercial partners and represent the company professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis (highly preferred)
- Proven track record in top sales performance
- account-based selling experience
- IDN systems experience highly preferred
- Nephrology/Dialysis/Specialty pharma experience preferred
- ability to travel within territory (Central and South Texas) and manage relationships with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations
