Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the Houston/Central/South Texas region. Responsibilities include executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engaging nephrology-focused healthcare professionals across office, hospital, and dialysis settings; daily travel within the assigned territory; promoting the portfolio to nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and others; demonstrating disease state and product knowledge; building and maintaining relationships within marketplace networks; analyzing sales performance and adjusting business plans; maintaining up-to-date call records and submitting reports; representing CSL professionally; collaborating with Commercial partners; preferred experience in Renal/Dialysis/Nephrology, IDN systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
