Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology for Houston territory; responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for products, engaging nephrology-focused healthcare professionals across office, hospital, and dialysis settings, with daily travel within Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX); duties include calling on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, promoting product portfolio, demonstrating disease-state and product knowledge, building relationships across marketplace networks, analyzing sales performance, maintaining call records, and collaborating with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
