Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in Houston area: lead sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio; engage nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; manage a defined Central/South Texas territory (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen) with daily travel; build relationships with physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; promote product knowledge, understand disease states, analyze sales performance, and adjust business plans; maintain field call records and reports; collaborate with Commercial partners and represent CSL Vifor professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
