Job Summary
Area Sales Manager area responsibilities include executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Daily travel within the assigned territory; engage nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations to promote product portfolio; communicate advanced disease-state and product knowledge; establish relationships across marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain up-to-date call records and reporting; collaborate with Commercial partners; represent CSL in professional settings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry (nephrology/renal/dialysis preferred)
- Account management experience
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Experience navigating IDN systems (preferred)
- Experience selling to nephrology, renal, and dialysis customers
