Job Summary
As Area Sales Manager for Nephrology, you will execute all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for the company’s products within the assigned territory. You will engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and care teams in office, hospital, and dialysis settings. Daily travel within the Central and South Texas territory (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX) is required to promote the portfolio, establish and maintain relationships with key customers, demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, analyze sales performance, and adjust business plans. Maintain up-to-date field call records and paperwork, represent the company professionally, and collaborate with commercial partners to achieve sales objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
