Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for driving sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products across Central and South Texas. Daily travel within the assigned territory (Houston, San Antonio, Austin, McAllen) to engage nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals. Requires advanced disease-state knowledge, strong relationship-building within marketplace networks, and ability to analyze sales performance to adapt plans. Emphasizes collaboration with Commercial partners and maintaining up-to-date call records; travel-focused role within a pharmaceutical company.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace

- IDN systems experience (highly preferred)
